  •    I'm sorry hear that you have had such poor service. I was diagnosed as T3A N0 M0 at the age of 71 in 2018. I assume Stage 3+ could be either T3A or T3B both of which are definitely treatable. My PSA was only 15 but my cancer was a Gleason 9. I had three years of hormone treatment and 20 sessions of radiotherapy and my latest PSA test in December was 0.2 so still in remission.

You should ask if radiotherapy is an option and, if not, why not.

    Good luck with your treatment.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift.

  • Hi, I had a radical prostatectomy January 5th 2023. My Gleason score was 9 and psa of 5.7. I have stage  pT3b N0 stage 3. I have been told by all my doctors which include my surgeon, a radiation doctor, and a chemotherapy/hormone therapy doctor that I have a 70% chance of being cured. I am 61 years old. Other than psa my condition sounds similar to yours. Please do not take into account when a nurse tells you you have 2 years. You do need to act fast on a treatment plan. There is plenty of hope. Stage 3 is curable and certainly very treatable in 90%+ of all cases. I do not know your location but in my opinion if you can get to a big city hospital you may get much better treatments and information.
