For me the bowel and bladder side-effects were gone within a week. The remaining side-effect, which kicked in about three weeks after the end of the RT, is fatigue (and the side-effects of fatigue), exacerbated by hormone injections.

Are you completely clear now?

Yes, just in the past few days the fatigue seems to have subsided. That’s four months after the end of the RT. A few days away visiting family has helped. Everyone’s experience seems to vary a bit.

Have you asked for medication to help with this?  I would ask the radiotherapist as there maybe something that can help you.  Having said that this should subside within the first month.

Hi Bravetony,  For me it didn't last long after RT.  Have you tried taking paracetamol?  I used it during treatment to help with night time visits to the loo!
