Pelvic pain due radiation therapy

Hi, new to this group. My partner is midway through 37 sessions of RT and is struggling with the abdominal discomfort and pain. It seams to start in the night, is worst early morning then subsides. I wondered if anyone had any tips or advice?

I would tell the radiotherapy team about his pains, maybe even the doctor, it might be something completely different, never be shy asking people.

Thanks Joe, spoke with a nurse and he will speak to the team on Monday. Just wondered what others had found helpful

Any problems you get during or after radiotherapy should ALWAYS be reported to the radiologist straight away so that they can give medication to help.
