Hi my partner has finished his 6 sessions of chemo psa on diagnosis a year ago 26 prostap and degarelix not worked hence the chemo with degarelix,psa shot up 600 during chemo then 220 on 4th session now 345 after last session,apparently his phosphates are going down so they are not worried,he has a bone and ct soon ,I'm passed myself with worry Is this it
Sorry to hear that news Tina, I know that there are a few men here who have had Chemo. I hope they can give you an insight into your husband's situation.
The promising piece I can see is the fact that they are not worried, with your husband's phosphates going down.
It's much easier for them not to be worried, but what comfort is that to you both!

Hi Tina,
I understand how you must be feeling. Hoping for the best treatment soon,
do you know the type of pathology… adenocarcinoma or ductal carcinoma which is a bit more aggressive and rare. My husband has this. Due to his age he wasn’t offered chemo despite being at stage 4. Aged 74. He is on Arbiterone, Prostap etc…
