hi my name is banbeto I will like to know after you finish your Radiotherapy treatment and you drink fizzy drink and tea and coffee it efect your treatment?
During radiotherapy I had to drink water and be at a certain level before I got treatment. The focus for me was only water and I avoided fizzy drinks and caffeine as this would affect my water levels. After I finished radio, I just went back to normal fluids without any issue.
Hi Banbeto, l was advised to avoid fizzy drinks and caffinated drinks during treatment and for a couple of weeks after the treatment finished solely because they can cause irritation to the bladder and ureter
