Hi
Can anybody help me to understand or explain a rise in PSA for me please. My Dad was diagnosed in October 2021 and started in Firmagon and Enzalutamide. He has temporarily stopped Enzalutamide due to side effects. PSA has been 1.1 but todays result is showing at 48. Has anybody else had a similar rise and can share their experience please l. Thanks
Hi
I feel Steve is correct. The HT will force down the PSA and if he stops taking it then it will rise.
I appreciate that he has stopped due to side effects but there are other drugs he may tolerate - Prostap which I took. Has he discussed with his consultant changing to another?
Regards
Stuart
