PSA rising again after just 6 months on Enzalutamide

Hi all

After diagnosis in July 2021 and starting Enzalutamide in October, my PSA was initially settling at less than 1. Now it has started to rise again - 2.1, 4.7 and 13 in the last 3 months. The readings are all taken at the end of the 4 week Firmagon injection period.

I'm speaking to my oncologist in April. The question is what might be my best treatment including the newest drugs? I have extensive metastasis but I'm in general good health and mobility.

I'd be grateful for your thoughts and the questions to ask?

Sorry to hear this Sussex, have a look at the Neptune trial. It's an immunotherapy trial for advanced PC when it has become hormone resistant and has progressed. Don't know where you live but it's available at a number of locations and sure you'd travel, as would I.

Thanks that is really helpful. I'm hoping to gather a series of options that I can put to the oncologist in April. London and Southampton are all possible.
