If you are taking this medicine for prostate cancer and you drink alcohol on that day is it getting to affect you
Depends on the medicine and how much alcohol!
As a very general thing, more than a glass of wine or so can affect you badly - first by affecting how well the medicine is absorbed (alcohol tends to wash it through). Second, many drugs interact with alcohol, and so the intended effect may be altered.

If I can't beat this, I'm going for the draw.
Meanwhile, my priority is to live while I have the option.
It all depends on which medication you are taking. Read the pack leaflet or ask your pharmacist. If it says avoid alcohol then it means there may be an interaction but one glass of wine once during your time on medication will do no harm, but binge drinking would be a different matter of course Best to check with your pharmacist as they know the most about medication and interactions.
