Metastatic bone disease - Calcium supplements

My treatment is now settling down with (Firmagon) Degarelix and Enzalutamide. Since bone thinning and fractures are a risk with this treatment, I wondered if anyone had been prescribed or is taking any calcium and vitamin supplements? If you are, I also wondered if there are any to be recommended?

I take Alca D given by doctors have done for around four years.

Adcal D3 is I think the one they mentioned in Urology. They don't prescribe it in the hospital but I'll ask my Doctor. Thanks

I’ve been prescribed Alca d3 twice a day I find the two a day tablets the best. The chewable once tend to be broken

Hi Sussex20,

I recently started Adcal-3 chewable tablets twice a day and Alendronic Acid once a week every Monday. No problems as yet.

I have zoledronic acid bone strengthening infusions once a month and was prescribed calcium and vitamin D chewable tabs by my oncology nurse.
