Just realised gone nearly 3 weeks past my injection. Obviously phoning tomorrow to organise something. Panicking a bit, has this happened to anyone else and were there consequences?

  • I think the risk of it having any long term effect is very, very small, with a fair chance you didn't drop out of the 'therapeutic window' even for a day - but if in doubt, talk to your doctor.

Thank you so much for your reply Heinous, just had the injection, the nurse said it was not the end of the world but don't do it again! I am happy with her view and feel completely settled now.

  • I reckon she gave you the perfect response.

I'd have given you the naughty stair for at least five minutes! Smirk

I would have preferred the stair to the injection,  it was the most painful ever!

  • She wanted to give you something to remember for next time.
perfect response though. I used to get very anxious but whilst not blasé my surgery were happy to count them as three/ six months rather than 12/24 weekly injections
