Cru08 I hope all goes well for you. I didn't read any of the scary stories before my biopsy and thank goodness I didn't as mine went without any more than a little discomfort. The only pain, if it could be referred to as pain, was the local anesthetic injections. The nurse who supported me through the procedure was wonderful, we chatted and cracked jokes throughout.
After the procedure it was simply making sure that I could pee without problem and then sent on my way.
I don't know if all trusts use the same process but in our case they 'seal' the biopsy points with a glue, as that comes away in a day or two I can leave you to imagine the removal process but it's nothing to be concerned about.
Good luck for the future,
Rod
Good Morning Cru08
That should be the most painful part of your journey - waiting for the results can be a time of anxiety and I wish you well with these - please do keep us posted when you get them.
Enjoy the weekend.
Best wishes - Brian.
