I'm currently on Zoladex injections and Enzalutamide tablets and have noticed significant hair regrowth in areas that were previously thinning. Now, in my 70's, I have a full head of grey hair. Has anyone else experienced this while on these medications?
Hi Jonney. Well observed. The hormone therapy affects the levels of Testosterone and DHT in the body with the latter being associated with effects on hair follicles. My husband also now has a good head of hair and since having chemotherapy it has come back darker and more unruly than it was before. The hairdresser has benefitted from the extra visits.
