I just wanted to come on here and let you all know that our wonderful Dad passed away peacefully at home on the 5th of October, aged 69, after being diagnosed in July this year.
it's difficult to find words at the moment so I will share with you what one of my sister wrote:
'We as a family wanted to let you all know that our Dad, D passed away peacefully yesterday at 3pm. He died at home with my Mum, myself, D Jnr, L, A by his side. He received a diagnosis of advanced prostate cancer in July this year and fought so hard against a rare and aggressive version of the disease. He was so brave and I am so proud to call him my dad.

Dear Purple Tree. So sad to read your post. You all must feel you have been robbed of the time that should have been spent peacefully as a family. Your sisters words are beautiful and the love you have as a family is so clear in them.
To have passed peacefully with you all is a time you shared and will treasure knowing you were with him. Sending condolences and strength to take you through this time. Big hugs xxx
