Secondary Peritoneal after Stomach

Hi.  Husband had adenocarcinoma of stomach 2.5 years ago with 4 FLOT, total gastrectomy then another 4 FLOT and was told he was free from disease.  He has been suffering bad bile reflux and unable to eat or drink significant amounts due to the reflux periods therefore has become dehydrated resulting in kidney issues.  He had explorative laparoscopy where they found widespread disease intertwined in his bowel in several places causing blockages and distortion.  The disease is widespread in the abdomen cavity - I’m sure that was the phrase used.  The surgeons have categorically said surgery is not an option.  They seem sheepish about treatment also.  He is young and fit otherwise but the surgeon seem adamant that he will not withstand any treatment.  Has anybody else had a similar situation?  Thanks
