Hi, I'm Jo,
Have finally this week got a diagnosis after many tests since July. They've confirmed I've a malignant lesion in the head of my pancreas and its spread to the liver. I think we realised quite a while ago that this was going to be the outcome, so have been preparing for the result.
Currently I've very few issues apart from belly discomfort and loss of appetite and weight. I am struggling to sleep & have been pretty anxious (not surprisingly). Am also dealing with my elderly Dad being in hospital, but thankfully other family members are stepping up to help more.
We've got our first meeting with the oncologist next week and I'm compiling a list of questions to ask - if anyone has any suggestions for questions, that would be great.
Struggling with the reality of it all right now - keep crying at the thought of what's to come.
