Sadly my husband has pancreatic cancer and it's spread to his liver he was having chemotherapy and doing so well but sadly he has now had a stroke due to blood clots. We are now having to struggle with visiting him in hospital every day and sadly there's no recovery expected. So tough for me and my girls not sure where you get the strength.

  • Hi, I'm so sorry to hear about your husband, my partner also has the same cancer and we are awaiting to see if it has progressed to his liver.  He started chemotherapy recently but is finding it really tough going.

It's really hard to cope and you must be very tired.  I wish you and your family the very best on this hard journey

  • This is such a difficult time for you and your partner me and my husband were very lucky he dealt with the chemo amazing and we were able to do so much in the 6 months hotels away with the grandchildren. So many lovely memories. But sadly once he had the stroke in August he was in hospital till sadly he passed away in sept but very peacefully. Stay strong because the treatments now are so amazing we were just unlucky that my husband had the stroke. Take care and if you ever need to talk keep intouch as some times you feel so alone.

    • Although i'm a stranger i am sincerely sorry to hear your husband passed away.  It must have been devastating.  I think this disease is so dreadful, it's very difficult to watch a loved one struggling and luckily I have a lovely supportive family but you do feel very lonely.
I wish you the very best while you navigate the way forward with your daughters
  • Thank you so much what a lovely message yes like you my friends and family have been amazing support.
