Hi,
I was diagnosed in June and am waiting for the results of my first scan to see if chemo is working. I have everything crossed but this is the hardest thing I have ever had to do, chemo is brutal but necessary, currently on Folfirinox. Is anyone else on this and if so how are you coping?
Hi WelshMel
Welcome to the Pancreatic forum. I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in June.
My chemo was for a different type of cancer, but I would agree in that chemo is one of the hardest things I have had to face. Somehow though you do manage to do it.
I hope that you do not have to wait too long for the results of your scan and that it shows that the folfirinox is working for you.
It is always hard to wait for the results of scans so if at any point you feel that talking things through would help, then please do give the Support Line a call.
