Hello everyone, my name is Danielle. My amazing dad was diagnosed with locally advanced pancreatic cancer in Feb 23. He has just been referred to palliative care. The physical and emotional decline of my dad is heartbreaking
Hi, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I don't know what to say really, other than I know exactly how you feel. I'm spending more time with my dad and soaking up every word in every story he tells me. I cry on my drives home but it's so good to spend this time with him.
My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in Feb but can't get his head around the news of my dad so blocks any emotions as a way of coping. I let the emotions come when they need to. Good friends help too. x
