Hello
I was diagnosed in 07/23. A complete shock! Aged 48, running every week, a working mother of 2 teens and otherwise, I thought, good health! Only unwell for 3 weeks prior to diagnosis and admitted with jaundice.
I am stage 4 adenocarcinoma of the pancreas head, metastasis in liver and then confirmed lung. Inoperable, not curable. I’m currently into my 6 th cycle of chemo and struggling more as it accumulates. Im booked in to the end of April for chemo, that’s if I haven’t actually turned into a bag of chemo by then ! I have a scan soon and a review of results in Feb, but first scan showed it has shrunk. My cancer markers keep going down from > 10,000 at diagnosis to 68!
I struggle with the ‘ I don’t knows’. I’ve ‘ sort off’ been given a prognosis but looking at the forum I guess each journey is different. I would love to speak to someone who may be on a similar treatment regime / diagnosis / age , anything really.
Thanks in advance x
