Hi all.
I'm new to this site.
I've just spent 2 weeks in hospital for gallbladder and bile duct problems.
I went to have a stence put in at the base of the tube as it was too narrow. On doing that procedure they discovered the tumour of the pancreatic. I've only known this in the last week. And it came as a shock. My question is if anyone can answer it is. How long after the meetings between specialists will I get to know when I will speak with my consultant to discuss the way forward.

Hello Julia
I am sorry that you have had this news. As you say it will have been a bit of a shock. Different hospitals do things differently. However, in general terms once the Multi Disciplinary Team has met you normally hear within a couple of days what is planned.
