hi has anyone had this. My hubby had the surgery 10 days ago but still is a little confused after coming out of ICU He is convinced someone wants to hurt him. I am really worried as this behaviour is so out of character for him . He is heavily medicated but I was not expecting this x
Hi, my partner had this operation last November and I know he was very angry and unwilling for people to assist him. He was actually discharged in his hospital gown because he wouldn't dress and wouldn't yake it off when he got home till the following day. Maybe at the moment his medication is affecting him, what do the medical team say xx
Hi
his medical team are assessing him today, I just wondered if this had happened to anyone else. His surgery was 14 hours long so he has had lots of drugs etc
Hi My girl
I'm sure the medical team will be able to help. About five days after my husband had the Whipple he phoned me at 2am to tell me that he needed me to write to everyone that he had sent emails to earlier that day that he hadn't meant to send them. I had access to his email and he hadn't sent any! I suspect that it was all the medication he was on!
Let us know how he you get on today.

Hi My girl
As you know this is a huge surgery, especially if it took 14 hours. I think it is inevitable that people will be affected by it in unusual ways. Let us know how the assessment goes.
