dear Kate and all,
I promised admin that I’d clean my act up and keep my interminable waffle in a separate thread....so others don’t have to read it. This was in another group.
Anyway, lovely day everyone. Chemo is being pretty rough on me below the waist. Haemorrhoids. Walking funny!
If anyone has any tips for this problem, please let me know.

Yes, I agree. We just need to get on with things sometimes. Sadness is a part of life. We all deal with it differently.

Hello all,
Haven’t we been quiet? I’ve got my SIL here for six days (not heard of the 3-day rule) and am exhausted and rather unwell. Had chemo today and have had bad dose of diarrhoea for the last couple of days. No doubt it will pass.
I look forward to catching up with you folks. I miss you but god have I been tired.

Hello Pepys
Good to hear from you and I hope everyone here is doing well.
Its certainly autumn here with cold mornings. I haven’t seen the deer for a few days but the past two nights an owl has been hooting which is quite nice. It’s almost frosty this morning.

Hi Vixen
When you talk about your Rodney, it conjures up 2 memories with me, firstly Only Fools And Horses. I am a great fan, love it. I'm always bringing it into my life at home, such as when we sit down to dinner I'll say "bonjour" or when we're leaving home I'll say "mange tout"! There have been a couple of times recently in the Incurables threads where I've said "No way Pedro" lol. I wonder what people think when I do that!
The second is that when my eldest boy was young, he decided to get himself a guinea pig that he called Hazel. Hazel spent more time outside her cage than inside. Frequently when I was tucking him in, I would have discovered Hazel in his bed. Yuk! No many times he was told not to, he still brought her to bed, he loved that "rat"! He burned her name on a piece of plastic waste pipe using a magnifying glass, which he placed in her cage as a play tunnel! I was so so sad when Hazel passed. NOT.

As a recent visitor to your area of the site, I've missed your info on the wolves. Sounds fascinating. Would you be so kind as to give a brief summary of the enterprise?
Speak soon folks.

Hi, Everyone, sorry I have not been posting much, John my wonderful husband is in hospital with sepsis again (hence lack of posts!), so please pray or send him nice thoughts. He was very seriously ill just over a week ago, and became ill again yesterday with a very high temperature. He is in hospital, and getting the best treatment, but a bit of a concerning time.
Thanks everyone,
Tilly xx
Hi Tilly
I'm a newbie here, guided in my my good friend Pepys whom I met in the Incurables, and Vixen has become a friend also. You must certainly be so worried as John's condition has worsened again.
As you say, he's in the best place for treatment and good care, that's for sure and it seems to me that he has a wonderful, loving and compassionate wife to be there for him. I am sending my best wishes, I'm not particularly religious, although I'm becoming increasingly so by the second.

Hello lovely friends
sorry to be so slow to write. I don’t think o can remember what I wrote so please forgive. On Friday I fell over in the town centre after leaving my son. Next thing I knew I was in an ambulance with blood pouring down my face. Spent the afternoon in hospital. My face is quite a mess now, covered in glue.
Its a terrible shame as I’d just eaten the best pasty EVER sitting on the seafront with my son...only to walk as far as specsavers where I plummeted earthwards and not much memory of it either. The hospital staff were very sweet, as you’d expect. Have I told you all this! Probably!
im expecting my oldest friend in all the world and her husband, from LA, just one night this time and theybtrpt off back to London. Apart from that, it’s rest, rest and more rest. That won’t surprise you. And now, I’m made up and set to go to a Moroccan restaurant which I’m assured serves the best tagine ever. Yes that’s right. Ever. Perhaps almost killing myself has set me back on my feet taste-wise. Sainsbury’s cinnamon-rich jerk chicken, aubergine dip and toasted bagels...
ok, will soon return and check out all your recent histories.
