Hi All, this is my first time posting. I’d like to know how effective letrozole is for stopping ovarian cancer from coming back. I’ve only been on it 2 weeks and it’s like I’ve had a personality transplant. I am usually a very calm person very slow to anger, and happy (even when going through treatment). This last 2 weeks, ive been getting progressively worse - crying constantly, quick to anger, sad, anxious. The brain fog is ridiculous; I cut my finger with knife, nearly crashed my car, forget what I’m saying mid sentence. Pain and swelling in my hands and joints. - just for reference - I’ve been through or was going through menopause when we found the cancer so I’m no novice to those symptoms but this is so much worse.
So back to my question- How effective is it? Do these symptoms reduce as your body gets used to the drug?
