Hi. I’m new to this forum. F58. Just diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Had a blood test for high CA125 a month ago and then a CT scan which showed a cyst on the ovary as well as liver markers. Managing pain at the moment and now waiting for a biopsy. In limbo at the moment.
Hi, I’m sorry you find yourself here. Being in limbo is the worst , such a lot to process. I’m 2 and half years into ovarian cancer , hang on in there, you don’t know for sure yet it’s cancer and if it is there will be treatment for sure. Easy to say but try to stay in the present and if your searching on the internet stick to charity specialist sites such as Ovacome or Target Ovarian Cancer. Be kind to yourself.
One day at a time is the way to go. It is very overwhelming when you don’t know exactly what you’re dealing with . I remember only too well when first diagnosed I was terrified to think about the future. There are so many treatments for OC, there is hope. You will find strength you never knew you had. I live with advanced cancer and have a very good quality of life. Once you know exactly what you’re dealing with and a treatment plan strangely it does get a bit easier.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
