Scared

Hi, i have found that the anxiety and worrying all this causes is terrible. When do you have your ultrasound?

i am 66 and earlier this year found out i had ovarian cancer stage 4. I have just completed 6/6 chemo cycles and have an appointment in a weeks time to discuss forward planning.

i have no idea where i am heading with it and worry all the time

Scan is scheduled for 22 Sept.

I've just had a recurrence of breast cancer as well.

So sorry to hear your news. Its just so awful isn't it? What were your symptons?

• Hi Christine, that was the trouble i had no symptoms whats so ever, they said my ovaries  are where it started, however, its quite widespread now.  You mention your scan is scheduled for the 22nd September, but today is 2nd October, have you already had it now? 
  sorry to hear about your Breast Cancer, How long ago did you have it first?  I do hope your feeling ok, but its hard to push it out of your mind xx

How did you known you had cancer without any symptons. Must have been very scary. So sorry to hear its now widespread.

I had bc 15 years ago and again six weeks ago. I have just had the news that there was no spread to lymph nodes.

Just got to get through the ultrasound now. It's just never ending.

I really do hope that you are okay after chemo and take care

Hi, i had a very nasty cough and thought i had a hernia from all the coughing in my groin, they did a routine blood test which came back as raised ca125  and it all started. I was Sooo shocked, This was end of Feb this year

Do u have to wait now until the scan or have they put in place treatment for the BC?

Scary how these things start. You must have been so shocked. I hope you have lots of support around.

I'm having radiotherapy for the bc. Not sure when yet. Meeting with the Oncologist in a couple of weeks.

I had a lovely weekend. How was yours? My ultrasound has been rearranged to this Thursday which I'm glad about.

How is your health? Have you finished active treatment?
