Hi
I’m new to the forum and looking for support .
HGOC 3b
I have a concern with surgery as my surgeon didn’t take all the cancer out . Left some on rectum and only took a small amount of omentum out . Since op I’ve researched a lot and this isn’t good .
Will another specialist oncologist gyno give a second opinion?
My first surgeon is not what he said with regards to experience in oncology surgery and now I’m absolutely mortified.
Im having chemo now on to 3 but really is this the answer to full recovery!!??? I feel I need a second surgery and am terrified no one will take me seriously .
I’ve an appointment with my doctor to ask for a referral does she have to do one for me ??? I need answers and peace of mind and another surgery!!!
hi Happydays and welcome to the group.
I can appreciate that you feel that you still need some answers, so this link here will give you some guidance on obtaining a second opinion.
I hope you can find what you’re looking for, and that you continue to cope well with your chemo.
Sarah xx
