Hi
Anyone else with ovarian cancer confirmation expected following surgery (hysterectomy) , but also kidney cancer confirmation also expected (removal of kidney)?
Thanks
Hello StayAGhost I have just come across your post whilst checking on the Community and notice it's unanswered. I can't answer it myself as I have a different cancer, however by me replying it will be "bumped" back to the top of the forum and be seen by other Community members on the Ovarian cancer community and I hope you have a response.
I have noticed the post too on the Kidney cancer forum and although you have had a reply it's inconclusive. You might try our Ask a Nurse service - they may be able to give you an answer. You can do this by clicking on the link I have provided - please allow a couple of days for a reply.
i do hope you get the answers you are after. If I can do anything else for you please let me know.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hello KazWaz
I am confused now - I have responded to a post from StayAGhost which is above, the same post is also on the Kidney forum - I am confused as to your involvement?
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi KazWaz
This isn’t your post Millibob is replying to. You will find your own post in the list of posts on the group page entitled “Newly Diagnosed”, and you can also find it on your own page under your activity. I’m sorry you have been confused with this-it can take a little time to find your way around the community!

Hiya
Thanks everyone,
One of the moderators said it was OK to post the same question across two boards.
Hi StayAGhost
Yes, it’s absolutely fine to make posts in the different groups for which you have your issues. I’m wondering if there has been a lack of response from others due to your situation being quite unusual? Would you like to share some further information to see if anyone in this group can help?
I suspect most of us have had surgery AFTER a cancer diagnosis, but it seems like you haven’t had a cancer diagnosis yet, is that correct? Are you facing having your ovaries and a kidney removed but not yet been diagnosed with either of those cancers?
Apologies for all the questions, but a little more explanation might enable members to help and if you could share with us what investigation or tests/scans you have had which have brought you to this point, others may be able to identify and reply.
I had my womb removed as part of a larger surgery removing my ovaries and Fallopian tubes among other things, but this followed my diagnosis and treatment for cervical cancer.
I hope you’ll feel able to let us know a little more, and from there we can look for others to help you.
Sarah xx
