Hi, I’ve recently been put on the 2 week urgent referral as I had a blood test (due to intermittent back pain) and have elevated c125 I’m now having a second blood test tomorrow, a scan Thursday and an appointment Friday to discuss the results. On top of this I’m due to get married the end of January, have an almost 5 year old to care for and my mum is currently in hospital with heart issues. This is so overwhelming and worrying and I just don’t know how to feel, what to expect and how to prepare myself. I’m 46 and have never had any experience of anything like this before :(((
Hi Lemmins
It's natural to feel overwhelmed with all the tests and appointments that are needed before a diagnosis can be made. Most people feel much more in control once they know the results of these and I hope you get answers today at your appointment.
Do come back and let us all know how you got on.
