Hi! My nan was diagnosed over a year ago with stage 4 ovarian cancer, she spent weeks in hospital at first with fluid on her lungs and had multiple scans/tests. Her treatment is letrozole but her most recent blood test has come back showing her markers have increased for the first time since her treatment started. She has to have another CT scan in a few weeks and another blood test. My nan believes neither will show good news! I’m not sure I’m ready for things to start going downhill as she has been doing pretty ok so far. My nan is very lonely and mad a lot of the time and my mum is not coping well,my daughter is struggling with the thought of loosing her grandma! We all try to help and see my Nan regularly but it’s very hard and very emotional. Not sure what the next few months will bring! Finding things difficult at the moment!
