Hi, I was diagnosed with HGSOC stage 3 last year, had six rounds of Chemo, Paclitaxel/Carboplatin, which finished in December. I’ve now been on Niraparib since January 200mg dayly. I’ve had several side effects over the months but the overriding one is fatigue. Recently I started having a bit more energy which was such a relief. However my last months supply of Niraparib had been in tablet form instead of in capsules, they are much easier to swallow but I’m feeling more tired than ever now, has anyone experienced the same with the switchover of Niraparib from capsule to tablet form?. Xx
Hello Jessie 54
I am sorry to read of your journey with Ovarian cancer. My cancer was in my womb but I had the same chemo as you. My last one was in August and I still have fatigue. Better than it was but it is still there and if I do too much I pay for it the next day.
I haven't taken Niraparib but as it's a question about medication- I wonder if it would be worth giving the support line a quick call and speaking to one of the nurses on there. The number is at the bottom. Your CNS may also be able to help.

Hi Jessie 54
There are a number of discussions about Niraparib in the group, so if you want to find them, just put Niraparib in the search bar (beside the magnifying glass at the top of the page) and you will find them. You could then connect with ladies who’ve been through or are currently on this treatment and have personal experience they can share.

Hi Jessie 54
I’ll tag in Dahlia2270 and Anne109 to see if they can help at all. I recall their discussions in the group before. Hopefully they see your post by tagging them. I think it’s always helpful to speak to others going through the same thing, but hopefully your CNS will also be able to help.
