Hi I’m nee to the group
i was diagnosed 9th December with stage 1c high grade serous ovarian carcinoma after hysterectomy to remove two very large ovarian cysts. After many years of suffering endometriosis and also having had many rounds of IVF with no successful pregnancy. I’m not 100% sure these are all linked however it seems to be I was high risk anyway
I have been receiving chemotherapy at The Christie Manchester and I have so far had 5 out of 6 rounds.
I had the latest one yesterday but today have a sore arm anyone else suffered with this is it normal ?
I hope all you ladies and your families are doing well
Hi
I am Dahlia 22
I have had 2 sessions of chemo but ever had a sore arm. Did you have the cannula in the back of your hand or elsewhere? The cannula area was sore during the 6th chemo infusion on my 1st session but did not last but the nurse must have hit a tendon and a soft lump popped up on the back of my hand which disappeared after tablet medication .
Have you checked this out with a gyni nurse?
sending hugs and hope all settles down.️
