Evening everyone, I’m new to this and I suppose I’m just trying to reach out to people who are in similar situations and going through a bit of a rough ride at the moment. I was diagnosed last September with stage 4 ovarian tubular carcinoma and maybe it’s took a year to sink in but feel the need to talk now more than ever xx
Hi Thelovelylife and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I had a different type of cancer to you and I'm currently going through chemotherapy after having surgery earlier in the year. Touch wood, the chemo doesn't seem to be affecting me too much except for losing my hair!
I just wanted to say hello and hopefully other members of the group will be along soon to chat to you.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
