Hello everyone, my ex partner 57, has had full hysterectomy for peritoneum cancer, but now it's in liquid in her tummy, had one course of chemo, another one Monday, can someone please tell me the hard facts please, I know it's incurable but treatable, but how long is life expectancy for this type of cancer, sorry to be blunt but I know you'll understand, bless you all.
Hi Rafreg
It's understandable that you want to know what the life expectancy for your ex-partner is likely to be but it depends on lots of factors. The best person to give a rough idea would be your ex's consultant. However, lots of people do not want to know, so your ex may have no intention of asking her consultant.
If you click here the link will take you to the Cancer Research webpage on ovarian cancer survival rates which will give you an indication of life expectancy by stage.
