Hi, I’m writing this while my mum is asleep in her hospital bed. Since 28th February 2022, we’ve been in and out of hospital with various appointments, blood tests, CT scans, MRI you name it. But as my mum is 77 it’s not been as straight forward as we’d hope. Throughout this time the doctors have said all they symptoms are pointing towards cancer and with the bleeding my mum has said it looks like Ovarian or Cervical or Uterus?! We’ve had one biopsy cancelled because they said if it’s a cyst they don’t want to rupture it and cause any damage.
The MRI scan showed something on her liver so she had a liver biopsy, came back inconclusive, then a second same result and then a third which said ‘normal liver cells!
What’s now happened is she’s been referred to the care team to move her to a hospice and only given weeks. I’m confused, angry and I suppose let down……has anyone gone through something similar?
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
