Hi I was diagnosed with Grade 3c Serous Ovarian Cancer in Jan.2021. After debunking operation and 18 sessions of chemo I am now on Avastin. I find this drug gives me very achy joints. Does anyone else have a similar experience

  • Hi , I'm not from this group, just dropped by and noticed you've not had a reply as yet. Until the members come along and answer I just looked it up and muscle and joint pain seem to be a common side effect of the drug.

Hope someone here gives you some advice on any tips they may have.

    Hugs, B xx

  • Hi Blackwell

Im the same on Avastin. Been on it since January 2022. Had it reduced to 400mg from 900mg and still having such joint and muscle pain. I’m having acupuncture to try to help. I just hope it stops when the Avastin stops.
    take care
