Hi all

Following a radical hysterectomy and omentum surgery last year I am recovering well and apart from slowly regaining  the feeling in my groin inner thighs I have a lot to be thankful for .
I wanted to ask if anyone had been really struggling with weight gain since their surgery I have gained over a stone in a year and it’s difficult to exercise as I’m also experiencing fatigue and join pain ( I think largely due to the extra weight as I didn’t have the problems priori to survey and I was in menopause ) has anyone tried anything that has helped would really appreciate any feedback x Tracy

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm not a member of this group but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list.

I've done a search in the group looking for anyone who's mentioned 'weight gain' and found these previous posts which mention it. You could have a read through some of them and reply to the more recent posters if you think they might be able to help you further.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
