Hi, I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in November 2021, at that time graded 1 and staged 1A. I had a hysterectomy on 22nd January 2022, and got my results today - grading remaining at 1, but stage revised to 2 as cells were found on the cervix. Fallopian tube stics were also found and from what I was told, and from my internet searches since, I gather that it’s rare. It’s hopefully academic for me as I’ve had the hysterectomy and will be having radiotherapy, but I’m just curious to find out if anyone else here has had this. The doctor today said to me that the genetic team might want to talk to me later on down the line. I couldn’t find a Fallopian tube cancer group on here, presumably because it’s rare, and so posted here because I understand it’s treated as ovarian cancer.
Hi MarmiteFan59
I don't have the personal experience you're looking for but have found these previous posts which mention fallopian tube cancer for you to have a look through. Some are quite old, so the posters may have left the community now, but you could always respond to the more recent ones if you think they can help you further.
I did notice that Cloudbreak63 posted only 4 months ago about her experience with fallopian tube cancer so have tagged her into my reply to you in the hope that she'll pop in and tell you about her experiences.
