Hi all,
I have just been pre diagnosed with stage2/3 low grade ovarian cancer which has also spread to my stomach, bowl tissue and possibly my splene.
I had a previous 1c tumour 10 years ago and never though it would come back in the other ovary.
I am awaiting a full debulking surgery with possability of a sent 3/12/2021 and really don't know how to process it all.
Is this real? Am I gona be around for my son? It's all just a blur.
I also already suffer with depression and anxiety
Sarah
Hello cupcake00 , so sorry to find yourself here. I'm 43 and have 2 young children and have exactly the same thoughts , it really makes me scared. I have 4b serous ovarian cancer. I had major op in August and am currently sitting in the chemo suit as I write to you having my 3rd cycle.
I found once I had a treatment plan I relaxed a lot more , I'm hoping this will do the same for you.
There are really no words to say. Wishing you the best outcome and sending you healing strength.
Thank you for your response and I hope your treatment is working.
I dont quite understand why they are not even gona look at chemo, maybe they can't until its removed and they know what there looking at
They will need to biopsy the tumour after surgery before they do the next step. Xx good luck , my chemo is almost done it's an 8 hour day , 4 for minutes.
That's a long stint each time. I hope you keep well x
