One minute I’m relieved to know I didn’t really get that fat over lockdown. Then shell shocked to know a packet of antibiotics is probably not going to fix this. Still early days haven’t had biopsy but the blood tests, ct scan and fluid from the drain plus my mother having had it looks like I’m a contender.
Hello , sorry to find yourself in this group. I thought I had IBS and a lot of lockdown weight, but how wrong was I , it's been an absolute whirlwind of a 4 weeks . As I write this , I'm lying in bed in hospital awaiting major abdominal surgery. The waiting is the killer , in 4 hours from now hopefully this f**er will be out of me !! Fingers crossed for you.
Good luck positive thoughts,erase that M F :) xx
Hello , I was just wondering how things are going. I ended up in surgery for 7.5 hours , but all was removed , the f**Ker went right up to my diaphragm and I had to have a resection.
I've just completed my 3rd cycle of chemo, do half way. I then have 25 cycles of Avastin.
Sending great vibes
