I have just finished my chemo.  Had 4 sessions then debulking and now the last 2 cycles.  Itscm stage iv and had gone to my owritineul, omentum, bowel and hip bone.  After the debulking I had no visible cancer left and am now on an antibody therapy.  I am wondering if anyone knows of any insurance companies that offer reasonable travel insurance as one quote was £2500 for a 2 week holiday in Turkey.  I am quite well at the moment so just can't understand how they can justify that amount of money.  Any advice would be brilliant

Thanks

  • Insurancewith is very good. It takes ages to go through their assessment but even after having chemo, surgery, requiring blood transfusions due to OARO, having a pulmonary embolism and requiring regular Magnesium as well as other medical problems the insurance was around few hundred pounds for a one week trip to Europe. The closer you are to the trip the cheaper it is but that means booking last minute. The further away from being in hospital or having chemo the cheaper it is.
