I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer (Her 2 Positive) last August. I was then diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in September. They decided to do breast surgery first and I had that in January after what I can only describe as 12 gruelling weeks of Chemotherapy. I had weekly rounds of Pacliataxel and 4 x 3 weekly rounds of Carboplatin. I had Ovarian surgery in April. What I have now learnt is that they thought I had a Krukenberg Tumour so only took my Ovaries out and never did any samples of fluid or from the Omentum. I don’t have a Krukenberg Tumour and am going to be tested for Braca Gene. I have today received a letter that states I have a ‘minimum’ of Grade 1c Cancer. They obviously can’t be sure. I don’t think I’ve cried so much since my original diagnosis.
