Do you always have your follow up appointments with your consultant or is it sometimes a telephone consultation with your clinical nurse specialist?

It will depend on stage and grade and also your hospitals policies.
I had my first check up after treatment with my oncologist and then was referred to the nurse team. I then had face to face appointments every 12 weeks for 2 years. I was always had a physical examination as part of this.
I am now on patient led follow up.
