Does anyone have any experience of ovarian mucinous tumours? My daughter had one ovary removed together with one of these tumours and now it’s appeared in the other ovary. Hysterectomy next week. Can’t seem to find much info about it. Thanks
Hi Englishy
I am sorry to hear of your daughter's ovarian cancer. I wish her well for her upcoming hysterectomy.

It may be worth giving the Support Line a call and speaking with one of the nurses who may be able to give some more information about this rarer type of ovarian cancer.

Hi, I also have muscinous ovarian cancer. As you say there is hardly any information about this cancer type as apparently it's very rare.
2021 I had a large mass removed from my right ovary. During surgery I also had a full hysterectomy.
Unfortunately I had a recurrence late last year and had debulking surgery and spleen removal. I then had 6 x chemo sessions
I really am unsure why there isn't much information about it.
Good luck x
