Having got the 'in remission' news I'm about to start the maintenance journey! I've been offered Bevacizumab until next July - 3 weekly infusions with Olaparib tablets daily! Has anyone here been on this combo and can advise on likely side effects - I'm trying to plan returning to work?? TIA
I'm on 3 weekly avastin infusions and 600mg oliparib daily and have been for 3 months now. I have leg pains and increased fatigue but so far so good my ca125 is at 10. I'm lucky to be retired. I still walk at least 5000 steps a day, do tai chi weekly and attend a choir weekly. Socially I go out for breakfast at least weekly and go out for a meal weekly. I have reduced late nights as I can't stop yawning after 8pm. Its hard to advise how you will be going back to work all you can do is try. I was diagnosed with stage 3c in 2021 had the usual 6 chemos and debulking in February 2022. You sound younger than me I'm 67 and live alone. Hope going back to work is a success it's great to be part of a team. Big hugs.
