Chemo side affects

I had my first treatment 2 weeks ago.

I’ve had a lot of pain since, in my feet, around the surgery wounds. Latest is mouth ulcers and pains in my teeth.

I got Tramadol but found they made me sick.

Any advice or recommendations? Has anyone else had this problem?

Had ovaries and tubes removed in August.

On two chemo drugs

Taxol and Carboplatin

Hey! My dad had this when he was going through chemo, he had pancreatic cancer. For the mouth ulcers and sores he found that corsodyl mouth wash somewhat helped. He also took cyclizine for the nausea x

I am just completing my 6th cycle (last one) and have had similar issues to you!

Please contact your specialist nurse - they can help you with easing all the side effects quickly!

I told oncologist about teeth, hands and feet pain - neuropathy I think it is - she simply tweeked the next cycle of chemo! It made a difference to me for the better!

For the mouth ulcers the nurses in the hospital gave me a really effective mouth wash. Good luck x

Taxol was reduced yesterday and I’m afraid to jinx it but I feel much better today. Thanks for all the information
