Just wondering if anyone has had a similar scan result ..  My original cancer has virtually gone but there is a new fluid filled cyst in my abdomen which my oncologist thinks is the result of my extensive surgery .  I don’t know what to think .  I have another scan booked in for 8 weeks time .  My CA 125 is 29 which has gone up a bit since chemo finished, but apart from that I feel well .  Would appreciate any views x

  • Hi  and welcome to the Online Community. I just dropped by, I have a different type of cancer to you, and noticed you've not yet had a reply to your post so I'm so I can't comment. Whilst waiting for a reply to your post from the members here why not Ask a Nurse here on the forum, you may need to wait a few days for a reply as they're busy at the moment. (Just click on the link I created.

I'm pleased to read that your scan revealed your cancer's virtually gone after surgery and chemo and you're feeling well. It might also be a good thing to call your CNS, they should have some answers for you.

It’s always helpful to others if you write a little something (or a lot) about yourself and your journey to date. You can enter it into your profile (click on your username and select “Profile”) It’s helpful to other members with a similar diagnosis who can then hopefully answer your questions. It also means that you don't have to keep writing the same thing over and over. You can amend or update it at any time.

Sending you welcoming hugs B xx
