CT Scan Results…with MDT

Hi

I had a CT scan on 22 Sept. As I hadn’t  heard  anything, i rang  today and was told it’s with the MDT awaiting review on Monday. 

Can anyone explain what this means please? Is it necessarily bad news? Has anyone else been told this with a good outcome? My assumption is they’ve seen something on the scan and next steps need to be discussed?

  • In my experience is the MDT is routine so a group of experts can see your scan and suggest the best next step. My last MDT identified a reduction in tumour size and concluded keeping on the chemo
