Just wondering if any of you ladies taking Niraparib (Zejula) are in their 5th or ++ years of treatment. I've had treatment for 4 years which is due to end this March. I would like to continue with treatment. I am well, bloods are good and CT scan showed I'm PF.

  • Hi

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

I've done a search in the group and found these posts which mention Niraparib. You could have a look through them to see if anyone has been on that drug for more than 5 years. Having had a look at the information that Macmillan has about this drug, it says that "you usually keep taking it for as long as it is working". You can read the info here.

While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
