Diagnosed April should have had debulking on May 1st. At pre op three days before a dvt in leg and blood clot in each lung found and op cancelled.  On blood thinners and have to wait 6 weeks June 19 for op now.  So worried it may have spread in 6 weeks.  Don’t what stage it is until after the op.  Very low

  • Hi Trish, sorry to hear this. I’ve been told I’ll be having debulking with full hysterectomy. Waiting on a CT scan to check spread as deposits were shown on peritoneum. I too will be starting blood thinning injections as they’re concerned about clotting in my legs.

    It’s so overwhelming. Heart️

The MDT won’t give me a surgical date until they have checked my whole body Worried

    Fingers crossed for you.

  • Hi Nix and Trish, l am now 2 years in remission from having stage 4 ovarian cancer. I just wanted to reach out and let you know that l know how overwhelming things can  be  for you. I struggled with the diagnosis and then finding out that they had found cells in my lungs, l thought that this was it for me. I decided that l needed to stay strong and become more positive with my outlook.  Each day l felt like l was taking 2 steps back and only 1 step forward, but l think that a good attitude helped me tremendously. Nowadays l am looking more and more to the future. I hope that this helps. X

im 13mths post op and currently on targeted Bevacizumab.  I’m much better these days with occasional dips.  I agree positive mental attitude helps.

life isn’t what it was prior to C but its getting there!

thank you for your kindness Heart️
