BEVACIZUMAB

I am week 4 after debulking surgery and start chemo again on Thursday of this week and my treatment plan is Carboplatin, Paclitaxel and Bevacizumab.  So I’m in the same position and would also be interested to know how others were affected by this combination.  I had Carboplatin and Paclitaxel for 5 sessions before my surgery without too many problems except my blood counts were always on the low side and haven’t really recovered to date.  So I am concerned how introducing a 3rd drug might affect me.

Hi, yes had this added once before just having Bevacizumab three weekly on its own.  Experienced no side effects and hope you don’t either ️

Hi , I had Bev added to my last chemo ( carbo) , I was nervous having read all the side effects, so far I’ve been ok apart from the occasional nose bleed. My next one is on its own this Friday. See how it goes. 

Hi I had to be four weeks finished chemo for the bevacizumab to start but been fine with side effects hope this helps good luck x

I have same concern. tHe other 2 drugs have affected my feet a bit. I have neuropathy, not severe though

This account created for my mother ( she is cancer patient ).

She is using gemcitabine, carboplatin & bevacizumab.

Bevacizumab has some side effects like protein urea, high blood pressure. So keep in touch with BP.
